Note from our PTSA President, Sara Cupp

We have an awesome community at Mead, but we have noticed that it is getting more and more difficult to find volunteers for our activities and events. We understand that life is busy and stressful, but want to ask you to consider pitching in when you can.

If you haven't volunteered at Mead, I have a challenge for you. Commit to 2 hours of volunteer time. It is a great way to make friends, do something outside of your normal day, and your service is great example to your kids. I'm always surprised how much my kids enjoy me being at school or chairing an event.

We have several events coming up with volunteer opportunities.

We need several more dads, grandpas, uncles to help with our pancake breakfast. You can email James Hamilton at [email protected] to sign up.

Staff and teacher Appreciation Lunches: Our teachers LOVE having a homemade lunch made with love from our parents. Most months, we organize these great lunches. If you would like to participate, you can email Moriah Oster to be added to the list - [email protected] - or watch for signup genius in the weekly report.

Lastly, if you'd like to serve as a PTSA board member or chair person, we are going to start planning for next year very soon. You can email [email protected] to find a position that matches your talents and passions.

Let's all come together to support the volunteers who are leading these efforts and make our events successful.

Sincerely, Sara Cupp, Mead PTSA President
