Ready, Set, Volunteer!

All volunteers must have a current background check on file with LWSD.  If you are new to Mead, or if your current background check is more than 2 years old, please go to:

http://www.lwsd.org/For-Community/Volunteers/Pages/default.aspx and fill out an application to become an approved volunteer.  LWSD will contact you once you are approved.  This process can take a few days and you are not able to volunteer until the process is complete, so please fill out your application today!

Running Club - Hiatus

With the involvement of the YMCA in our after school activities, we will be putting Running Club on hiatus while we let the YMCA settle into our Mead community.  Once the Y programs are established, we will be working with them to see how our Running Club might be incorporated.  This would be with a view of resuming in Spring.

Thank you to everyone who has run, or helped our runners here at Mead!  Running Club has been a great way for our students to stay fit and have fun with friends after school.

If you’d like to indicate your interest in Running Club resuming in Spring, please let us know by clicking on this link to complete a brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FVTX7Q3

Our Running Club relies entirely on volunteer parent efforts, so this is also a chance to indicate your willingness to volunteer.

Thank you, and enjoy a wonderful fit Fall and Winter!
