Networking: Meeting opens at 6:30pm with networkingand a chance to meet and chat with Dr. Shannon Hitch, Director of Special Services, and her Associate Directors

Presentation time: 7 - 8:30pm

Presentation: Come learn what tools are readily available to all students to help with reading and writing literacy. Within Office 365, which is provided by the district, there are supports for students with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, etc, supports for students learning to read, and for students who are not Native English Speakers, and more. Additionally, Windows 10 has Accessibility built right in. Come ask questions about accessing these tools, how to support your students in leveraging them independently, and set them up to be active participants in their own education.

Joe Brazier leads the K12 Modern Classroom Experience Solutions on the Worldwide Education Industry Team at Microsoft. Prior to taking this role in February 2018, Joe spent 12.5 years in education at all levels of the K12 systems as a teacher, a paraeducator, and a specialist.?He has worked to provide technology access and skills for students with social, cognitive, and/or physical obstacles to a typical learning experience, and continues this work with Inclusive Education presentations, demos, and supports.. Joe has worked as a Personalized Learning Specialist supporting teachers in their use of various technology devices and web-based apps differentiating core content to all students.
