Do you know about the PTA Reflections Art Contest? It’s an annual competition hosted by the PTA that goes up all the way to National level (starting at school level, then district, state and national). Does your child love art and would like a chance to display and celebrate their work? Then consider participating in the PTA Reflections Art Contest! 

The theme for the 2019/20 school year is LOOK WITHIN (Entries are judged largely on interpretation of the theme). There are 6 categories to enter - visual arts, photography, music composition, literature, film and dance. Entries are to be 100% kid produced.

All rules and more information are available at https://www.wastatepta.org/events-programs/reflections   (please note – our district does not accept Visual Art 3D entries). Please make sure to read through the rules, as the format requirements are very specific. This is just a little heads up, for next school year. Maybe your young artist would like to work on her/his project over the summer. At Mead the competition will be advertised again at the beginning of the next school year and the art work will be collected at the end of October 2019.
