IT'S NOT EASY BEING GREEN

With the cafeteria being a new experience, students are learning how to adopt practices in reducing and recycling waste.
As a green school helper, you’ll direct students in discarding food and trash waste in the appropriate bins.
Recognizing the difference between compostibles, recyclables, and trash, is an integral stepping stone in educating students the importance of environmental stewardship.
A minimum of 2 helpers is needed to cover the three lunch periods that run from 11:25am - 1:05pm.
As a participating school in the King Country Green Schools program, the Mead Green Team and PTSA appreciate your help with this initiative.
