Enrichment coordinator: This position works with the YMCA and informs Mead parents of before and after school care options. You may also work with outside enrichment vendors who may want to teach at Mead. There is no fee collecting or soliciting enrichment teachers – the YMCA handles that aspect. This positing is more of a liaison between the Y and Mead. Plan to attend board meetings which are held once a month, on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm.
Volunteer coordinator: The volunteer coordinator ensures that event chairs have been given their list of volunteers (from online registration at the beginning of the year). Also work with President and Vice President to host a chair information meeting at the beginning of the school year so event chairs know how and where to find the resources they will need for their event. It is not expected that the volunteer coordinator takes on volunteer roles that are not filled, this person is a liaison between volunteers and event chairs. May help by organizing sign-up genius postings for events if needed. Plan to attend board meetings which are held once a month, on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm.
